In more than 400 entries, this encyclopedia treats several areas relevant to school psychology: assessment, intervention, consultation, administration and supervision, professional guidelines, agencies, and issues. The entries provide current definition, background information, related topics (marked by asterisks), see also references, and lists of additional readings. There are brief biographical sketches for notable psychology professionals. The preface explains how to use the encyclopedia effectively.
