Charles F. Floyd received a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is associate professor of real estate and urban development at the University of Georgia. He has published widely in the areas of real estate market analysis, regional economic growth, and land use planning. Dr. Floyd has held research consultantships with such organizations as the Economic Development Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce; the Federal Highway Administration; and the Department of Transportation of the State of Pennsylvania.His publications include a number of books and monographs, including Real Estate Principles, Economic Profile of the Coastal Plains Region, and Highway Beautification: The Environmental Movement's Greatest Failure.
