Author notes provided by Syndetics

Roxanne Pulitzer was born Roxanne Renckens in Cassadaga, New York, on February 10, 1951.

She was married briefly to Herbert Pulitzer, grandson of the famous publisher, and the media attention surrounding the marriage and divorce helped her produce several novels, including Facade and Palm Beach Story. Her autobiography, The Prize Pulitzer, was adapted into a television movie in 1989, starring Chynna Phillips, Courtney Cox and Perry King. (Bowker Author Biography)
